Le livre est édité en France par une société spécialement créée par le groupe Alphée de Jean-Paul Bertrand et diffusé par la Sodis d'Antoine Gallimard. Pour Al-Manar (chaîne de télévision du Hezbollah) : « Tout homme politique libanais devrait avoir lu et médité L'Effroyable imposture 2 avant de s'exprimer »
