"Erin Walsh intente une poursuite au
civil contre l'ancien procureur William McCarroll, qui est maintenant
juge à Saint-Jean. Les documents
de cette poursuite mentionnent aussi tous les chefs de la police de
Saint-Jean qui se sont succédé depuis 1975, le gouvernement provincial
et le procureur général du Canada.
Il réclame un dédommagement de
50 millions de dollars. Il soutient qu'il est victime d'une tentative
délibérée d'escamotage de preuves".

From
Cassandra in Ontario who writes and posts to a parallel family issue
site related to Foster Care and the CAS atrocities.

"For
those that have not on here seen the video of my son and what the CAS*
* did to him in Ontario should check it out. The government knew
they did this..they knew all about it and they chose to cover it up and
ignore it and do everything they can to shut me up so people don't hear
or see what that government is part of..and I mean both Federal and
Provincial know about it. They are just as guilty of what happened to my
son and his brothers as the CAS. The thing that scares them most is that
I can actually prove it all".

The author of this article
in the Daily Mail says he was forced to walk away from his son and
didn't see him for 10 years. Sharing this with the movement and others
is especially painful for me because the author describes a personal situation
which is entirely similar to my own experience. Except for the crucial
fact that my own experience in Canada was worse in several areas and I
had to walk away from a son and two daughters in circumstances even the
author of this article would be stunned by. I did this to spare my
children the pain and emotional turmoil which was certain and which was
developing in the most vicious and terrible of ways out of their sight
and far from their understanding. I won't go into it all here but many
Dads will know instinctively what I am talking about. My "three babies"
as I liked to call them will of course always believe I abandoned them.
Its been 5 years since I saw any of my children and they live less than 8
miles from where I write this. The lack of their knowledge as to why I
am no longer in their lives-even the minimal amount of time which the
law which have forced me to be allowed me to see them-just adds to the
tragedy (Fathers know the story-from 30 days a month to 4-from 24 hour a
day loving parent to a casual visitor-by law) I will never recover from
the reality and the horror of what I was forced to do- courtesy of
family law and the system which molds and manipulates it and the cruel
people who control and use it. So it is that I understand Daniel Ken
completely and utterly. I offer to to you his story courtesy of the
Daily Mail and with my thanks to the thoughtful and hard-working
activists who have forwarded this from Britain around the world in order
that same might be shared and understood, Many Fathers reading this have
"been there". So have I. It was never supposed to be like this for any
of us.
In Solidarity and
Understanding
Canadian Fathers are no Longer intimidated by the veiled
threats in the repeated accusation that we are "Angry Men".
We will no longer attempt to deny that or distance
ourselves from it. We are indeed Angry Men.
We have every right to be Angry. And we will continue to
be so".
