I don't know many activists in Ontario and Canada who were not sickened and outraged at the pictures from the London Free Press in the Fall of 2006. It showed a bashful but clearly pleased-as-punch Chief of Police Murray Faulkner, arms folded and grinning during an address as a plethora of women from the various London area women's shelter and domestic violence groups fawned and fainted, applauded and shrieked. The occasion as he stood up was at a London mayors task force meeting in that town at which time he took the typical Alpha male feminist stance and traitorously condemned his own gender over domestic violence and actually said it out loud for all to hear and the media to record "Men Are to Blame".

One could almost see shades of his secured career and pension for the rest of his career and life and the grateful radical feminists applauded his pathetic opportunism. There was a storm of protest of course but as we all know now London Ontario is known as "occupied territory" and the male population is cowed, threatened and oppressed to the point of subdued silence by the police as are the local media. London is well known as the home of the domestic violence industry in Canada and it stands complete with the University of Western Ontario and its feminist core spreading the myth where millions of dollars in provincial, federal and private funding is raked in over the absolute myth of overwhelming male on female violence and the suffering backs of hundreds if not thousands of innocent men and fathers. The same is true all over Ontario and Canada. Major Myth and Manipulative for Money.

Of course everyone also remembers the major scandal and embarrassment for that Chief of Police just last year when Faulkner's star (female) Domestic Violence officer shot and killed her police lover and then killed herself in the middle of the day with her police service pistol. There seemed to be a massive collective holding of breath in London and there some who were betting that Faulkner would have no choice but to resign. An inquest would see to that. But what were we thinking? Of course there was no inquest and no investigation. And Faulkner is still on the well paid job waiting for his comfortable retirement and no doubt more adoring accolades from the merry myth makers.

And now just as we thought that the London outrage might fade from memory for awhile along comes another Police Chief in another Ontario town with the same simpering message. This time its the successor to Chief "Homolka" Bevan (heard in 2003 stating to another fawning domestic violence group "I measure my success as Chief of Police by the number of men I arrest") Chief Vernon White. And it all sounds so depressingly familiar: "Men have to Change" "Men Are to Blame" Men Are Violent and on and on and on Ad Nauseum. No mention of the fact that the incidences of violence annually (as reported by research and polls) are close to equal between men and Women 7% and 6 % respectively, 635,000 women reported being assaulted (including of course all the false allegations) and 546,000 men reported the same excluding those who were too embarrassed or fattened to report it. So, now did our illustrious new Police Chief do the right and truthful and honourable thing by calling for a reduction in domestic violence generally? No of course not. Only the men got blamed. not a word of female abusers anywhere. Just like it is in the courts do. The focus is on the false accuser and not on the innocent. In a time of Tasers and police violence against the "easy take down" a new coward has emerged. and to think people used to respect their police. Especially in Ottawa. Sadly its been a long time since that happened.
